@urlyman@mastodon.social Also, this probably is easier to do at village scale -- we do here have the resources to provide a good life for our population without burning fossil energy -- but most people no longer live in villages.

@simon_brooke@mastodon.scot yes, I made that mistake when I moved away in 1983, although the village I lived in was and still is in the midst of an open air factory farm
