@retrimental@mastodon.social Gnome does seem to be a bit heavier than Plasma. Plasma is much more customizable than Gnome but both are what they are by design.

@cmccullough@polymaths.social Weirdly I've noticed the opposite? My old laptop can't even run KDE smoothly, but GNOMR runs fine
