Braved the flight from sf to ny with the 5 and 3 year old They did pretty well, though they didn’t nap Half hour from landing we’re told, nope, diverting to Philadelphia. Storms. Land in phl. Told we’ll refuel and head out. Told we have to wait 30 mins for ground halt to be lifted at jfk. Told that again. Told that again. 3yo becoming more and more insane with every passing minute. We flee. Thank god for family friends in phl. See lightning as we’re driving in. Well…happy 4th to us! Kind of a cool thing to stumble into spending the 4th in Philadelphia. God traveling with children is a whole other ball game.
