@craigjb@fosstodon.org this debug tool suite is primarily inspired by Efinix FPGAs because the vendor debug tools are... Not great (e.g. no VIOs at all). And of course I'm playing with them because I'm looking at migrating off Xilinx long term. But it's all portable with no vendor primitives and should run fine on any FPGA. And if for some reason you're running newer vivado, it should work there too. But my interest is mostly ngscopeclient integration since that will enable a lot of more advanced debugging and cross triggering
