"Grandpa's party" - Monie Love
Nicky introduces Miss Love as a double-act, perhaps confused by the backing singer who joins her on the stage. Although Monie had been recording in New York, she's as Londonish as the Tube and marmalade sandwiches.
The song is a rap of the time, with a soulful break to sing the title, and some good call-and-response sections near the end.

"Superwoman" - Karyn White Karyn's angry with her man, all the little selfishnesses and the way she feels like she's the only one doing any work in this relationship, deftly played by a million little domestic crises in the video. One of the greatest feminist anthems of the era. Lush soul arrangement, and all the more powerful for sounding so restrained. #TOTP #KarynWhite
