"It's 'orrible bein' in love (when you're eight 'n' 'arf)" - Claire and Friends
Claire Usher had won the Saturday Superstore Search for a Superstar contest in March, singing this ditty of precocious childhood romance. It's written by Michael Coleman - one half of "Matchstalk men" Brian and Michael.
The titular friends are skipping and playing cards, while Claire sings.
Everyone's rehearsed, finds their marks and waves their (slogan-less) scarf, but the climax to the performance (a kiss on the cheek from Claire's crush) is relegated to the longshot.
Claire went on to perform in Riverdance on Broadway, a long way from this.

"New beginning (mamba seyra)" - Bucks Fizz The video comes from the Industrial zone, where all the drummers perform on their individual platform, a wind machine blows people's hair about, and dancers turn their poses. All very internationalist, and at one point the group look like they're Communist-bloc heroes. Bucks Fizz's swansong, they won't be back in the top 40. Thanks for everything, y'all. #TOTP #BucksFizz
