There's a part of me that's pleased when girls love/boys love leans more towards regular relationship stuff rather than falling into some of the uglier tropes. A while ago someone posted a bit straightforwardly about some of the typical issues, such as characters being written in a predatory way, and it's set in note in my mind of things to watch out for. So the times shows keep away from that I kind of get excited to see where they go. And not getting too cutesy, seldom been a fan of that.
