@signalapp@mastodon.world I wonder why it took so long for poll function. It was really annoying reading in updates "Now GIFs in group" "Now scrolling faster"...blablabla. For THESE function I do NOT need Signal. I need Signal for SAFE ORGANISATION. 2-3 years begging for this poll function was really annoyization at it's best.

This reminds me of what Matthew Wild (@mattj@floss.social) wrote a few years ago. Signal’s product-led development excludes others from participating in the Signal network. Looking at the blog there seem to be some confusion due to the wording. poll responses are not anonymous and anyone can see who has voted for which option in a pollhere anyone is making people think that the poll results are open to anyone in the contacts, but I believe it is only anyone in the group. A better worded sentence could have made it explicit and clear.
