Had a lovely day out with Miss 7 & Miss 14 granddaughters today. I have only been to Corowa a few times over the 33yrs I’ve lived on the border. So most things were new to me too. Not a big town with around 5,600 population but they also border the even smaller town of Wahgunyah. We walked the Main Street which is actually Sanger St 😂 & we found all 3 op shops. Miss 7 loves her soft toys & chose a blue swimming turtle, miss 14 found some headphones & I found a lovely jumper. We did visit Dimmys as recommended, not exactly our cup of tea as regards merchandise, although some things were ok, but the building it is in is an old theatre & really has that smell of an old theatre. Even the old drop curtain is still there where the stage once was. I let the girls choose their cafe of choice & unsurprisingly it was the bakery, simple food done well with hot chocolate for them & coffee for me. Then they both chose a sweet treat to take to the park. All in all it was a fun day & the “I love you lots grandma” had me with an awww 🥰🥲 I love you too moment. #DayOut #SchoolHolidays #Granddaughters. #GoodDay
