Having spent most of the last couple of days out at the Canberra Show for work, I would recommend that if you want to see the show but don’t like crowds, go in the morning, or on Friday, and particularly Friday morning. The Friday thing isn’t useful this year, of course, but it might be useful next year. Just be aware if you’re going for the rides, a lot of them don’t seem to operate early on Friday (you could conceivably get a ride all to yourself if you time it right on the Friday).
