a former MEP was infected with Pegasus (NSO Group), during the time in which he was part of the #PEGA committee of the EU, which investigated the use of spyware against journalists, activists and politicians (report by Citizen Lab: https://citizenlab.ca/research/member-of-committee-investigating-spyware-hacked-with-pegasus/ ) this man is also a journalist. will the European Media Freedom Act (#EMFA) be cited, too late? the report already cites #GDPR violations on ground of exposing sensitive medical data. but the harm has already been done.
