Free Palestine has revitalized the American left, yet it remains impotent to stop the genocide in Gaza. Historically, the American left couldn't stop the invasions of the Philippines, Hawaii, Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan either. Mark Twain and Emma Goldman worked on antiïmperialism for the Philippines. They had as much effect as the left on Vietnam and Iraq—NOTHING. The greatest thing the left did was when anarchist Leon Czolgosz murdered that white devil McKinley—and what did that do for the Philippines? Nothing again. There are memorials in the Philippines to McKinley and none to Leon Czolgosz.
