Ever find an old work of art that looks like you?
This is La Petite Couturière (The Little Dressmaker) painted by Jules Breton in 1868.
She has my taste in long full skirts and headwear, my overflowing mending basket, my hair, and most weirdly, my face (or at least, my face circa 2010).
What she clearly doesn't have is my taste in colour.
Yellow and orange? Great.
Lavender, blue, and black together? Lovely (though admittedly not on me).
All five at once? Yikes.

@DMakarios@theres.life She probably put on her best clothes for the posing. Also, in the days of conspicuous consumption, we may not quite realise folks had a cupboard or maybe even a chest of clothing and that was that.
