It's not the real constraint, labour, expertise and natural resources are. Politicians use it as an excuse not to engage in any pro-social spending (as it will definitely hurt the ruling class). When it comes to starting new wars (which greatly benefit the ruling class), they magically find the "money". I want Modern Monetary Theory to become common knowledge, and for us to completely lose the sense that financial constraints exist at the level of the state or society as a whole. They have used this lie for so long it is about time it wore out. Money is nothing more than permission from the ruling class.
