@jorge@hachyderm.io @pojntfx@mastodon.social unfortunately, public relations also lives with the same overworked 3-person team of volunteers that keeps flathub alive. i’m actually at a loss as to what the real long-term solution is, here. it’s pretty thankless work that a very small number of people have been selflessly contributing for quite a while. “just add money” isn’t necessarily the answer, unlike a lot of development. but even if it were, where does that money come from? the first person to say “flathub payments” gets a slap and a basic accounting textbook in the mail.
