What's the best way to keep someone from stalking you on Lemmy?

I have weirdo trying to say I made a bomb threat to flag the auto-mod system. Besides blocking him, what do you think is the best way to avoid stalking? I’d prefer to stay on the platform and not let gross dudes like that win by silencing me. I’m pretty sure it’s just a random teenager from Australia.

I’d probably just ignore him and move on. If he keeps bugging you, maybe try asking admins of your instance for help?

You can make a new account (possibly on a different instance) and make sure it doesn’t have any connections to your current account

+1 for “contact admins.” This isn’t Reddit, they are human beings you can reach. Don’t let the stalker “win” by switching accounts. If you do that, just do it temporarily; they’ll get bored after a while.
