@linc@phpc.social I'm not sure this is the same problem-category you're referencing, but earlier this year a group of folks and myself tried to start a peertube video hosting co-op. It stalled due to a lack of good/consistent communication software, before we could even get to the community side of things. No, signal isn't it. A forum isn't it. Email/listserv isn't it. Matrix didn't seem to be it. NextCloud Talk (mixed with some other NC services) was close.
