"We have to require prescriptions for durable medical equipment repair, because otherwise, once in a blue moon someone may commit 'fraud' by asking us to pay for repairing equipment that is no longer medically necessary. Because that's definitely a thing that happens in such large numbers that we have to prevent it by making things harder for the vast majority of people who are just fucking trying to stay alive."
