With the state of emulation and emulation hardware where it is, it is such a good time to be a Pokemon fan. Like if you don't have a 3ds already, you can get the Ayn Thor for <$300 and play everything up to the 3ds era. Add in a crazy active Rom hack community, and you can really go back through this series really easily.

I am very excited to rejump into pokemon. I am having a blast playing through Heart Gold, and I have a couple of Rom hacks loaded up for when I'm done with that. I might try some of the 3ds ones I missed, or replay Black/White which I loved back in the day.
