That’s not to say I haven’t seen ridiculous things (like someone needing 3500 bucks for help with rent), but still

@valerie@cmplxdecay.space this isn't about marginalised people. This is about ridiculous things. "Sorry I can't afford my rent" is a valid ask. "I'm hungry and need food" is a valid ask. In those situations I've helped people before and will continue to. It's people who beg when they own luxury items. The one this morning listed $35 a week for COFFEE and just over $900 a month for car payment. I looked what I can get for that over here in the UK. It'd put me in an M class BMW X5. That's luxury.
