@Oggie@woof.group @ricmac@mastodon.social i still maintain that all concepts in computer science (FP, OOP, metaclasses, neural networks, JIT compilation, the whole shebang) were invented at MIT in the 60s and the entire field of computer science in the years since has been the process of fumblingly rediscovering what the lisp programmers already knew
