<p>he/him // early 20s // card-carrying Rustacean // audhd // combine every gay furry stereotype you can think of into a single person and you pretty much have me</p><p>i use NixOS btw. i am also NixOS's number 1 hater. ask me about why</p><p>world's only rustacean who admits rust has flaws and there are things it should not be used for. i could talk for half an hour about reasons i dislike the language (proc macros, consteval, compilation times, and the rust foundation going all in on LLMs to name just a few) and am an enough of an adult to acknowledge these flaws and still like it, and i don't get why more rustaceans can't be adults when talking to users of other languages. if you see a rustacean being a dick, point me at them</p><p>i try not to bite without a good reason

as an #actuallyautistic person who has always had a hard time intuiting unwritten rules, i gotta say i have not been loving the sentiment i have been seeing from leftists and anarchists telling me that their ideal society is one where no rules will be written, because which rules are necessary changes so frequently and every rule has exceptions and we can't write them *all* down and really the rules should be obvious to everyone, and everyone will be allowed and encouraged to enforce the unw...
