@bitsavers@oldbytes.space They studied Arguments in the 70s at UofT, Peter Newman as I recall; their best advice to win an argument was to be irrational. I stopped Bell from placing PII in cleartext in cookies by simply walking out and going home. Three days later they called, having seen my point 🤣 I didn't see broadcasting gender age and location as an 'ego' thing, but my ego was ofttimes useful 😊
