They studied Arguments in the 70s at UofT, Peter Newman as I recall; their best advice to win an argument was to be irrational.
I stopped Bell from placing PII in cleartext in cookies by simply walking out and going home. Three days later they called, having seen my point 🤣
I didn't see broadcasting gender age and location as an 'ego' thing, but my ego was ofttimes useful 😊

@bitsavers@oldbytes.space In the (very excellent) sci-fi flick The Forbin Project, their super-AI discovers this strategy on the first objection to its strategy: it arms and aims a nuclear weapon. 😅
