I'm often amused when I hear folks explain that the top 10% of households pay ~60% of all taxes in the US (Federal, State, Local, etc) - as if that is a statistic that suggests the rich are over-taxed. My dude - if income were more evenly distributed, then the rich wouldn't have to carry such a high tax burden! An incremental income of $1,000 means nothing to a billionaire, but it means the world to low income folks. You don't have to be a socialist to see the problem here. #USPol
