It's an unconventional way to announce they aren't interested in selling† games/systems anymore.
† of course the wish to rent instead of sell.

@RyeNCode@mstdn.ca @ryan@social.miyaku.media well disc's haven't contained the actual game in a long time. Eventually they'll probably discontinue digital downloads inorder to force people towards a subscription for cloud gaming.
