Welp ...I was on threads, for a few days. Then, I got a captcha. The audio version for #accessibility goes to a different page, so you can't use it, but I used #AI to prove I'm a human. Then, I had to verify my phone number by providing a security code. tried several times, never received the text, and eventually got locked out for requesting too many codes. Tried again this morning, from the app this time given I figured maybe the website was a third-class citizen. Worked, got the text right away, was asked for a selfie for verification because fuck knows why, and then got told that my "appeal" had been submitted. Appeal? Finally got told that my account was permanently disabled because "our technology" had determined my account was not adhering to the community guidelines. No specification on what I supposedly did wrong, just ...our technology says no. Ok then. Happy to keep up a mainstreamish presence but #meta, our lords and saviors no doubt, need to go squash bugs. #threads
