#ScribesAndMakers July 1: Our featured creator is a former librarian. What has been your experience with libraries?
I've always loved libraries. I read so much there as a child. In my pre-college days, I read every book my library had on UNIX back to front. While that's not the best way for me to learn (since I didn't have access to any POSIX OSes at the time I was doing it), I still use things I learned there both in my career and my daily life.
Libraries rule.

@JallBarret@hol.ogra.ph The biggest disappointment of my junior (1950s) library usage was discovering that after I’d read my two books I had to wait until the next day to borrow more!!

#ScribesAndMakers July 10: Do you prefer when a time traveler can choose a specific time/place to go, or when they don't have control over it? Based on the world I was trying to develop, I'd say some control but with frequent issues.
