In the Texas Panhandle area that includes the Oklahoma Panhandle and some of Kansas, there was this solar panel leasing company a couple of years back that installed a bunch of solar panels all over people's homes and then went bankrupt.
They did not install the fasteners correctly. And you need to hop up on your roof and check it out.

The fasteners are tea tracks. They're very easy to adjust. All you need is a half-inch socket wrench and a ladder. Do not use power tools on these. These are not meant to be used with power tools. The installers used power tools on these. I know that because I found broken bolt heads. If you have a neighbor who has these solar panels on their roof, be a good neighbor and check them out. Just pop up there and see that these fasteners are actually installed correctly.
