@clf@mastodon.bsd.cafe I took my office chair to my rental office (I use that for critical extra-long remote interpreting jobs) and use Jen’s old office chair here in the house when I do my billing and scheduling, and it’s this faux leather thing that’s cracking and looks awful. Sigh. At least it provides support.

@adhdeanasl@beige.party I bought a nice chair because I'm starting a master's degree and I didn't want to spend 2 years doing research on my old 50$ chair. It's a great investment honestly. I permit myself nice things because I don't have a car so my budget is kinder than for most people.
