@Tijn@dosgame.club @ratking@mstdn.io Ironically Petersen makes a very strong case for piracy: even if you do everything "right" and play a game legally, Petersen will still call you a pirate and blame you for the downfall of video games. As Romero pointed out, the people Petersen is blaming played Doom legally. I have never pirated a game, but I would not accept a drink from Petersen. (When I was a kid I didn't know how to pirate. As an adult I mainly prefer indie games that are already very cheap, so I see no reason to bother pirating anything.)
