See this is incredible. The language of the 14th amendment is not really subject to interpretation. 9-0, without much reflection, seems to me correct

@cturnbow@mastodon.world @chrisgeidner@journa.host any summary on the dissent arguments? Are the dissenters claiming some ignorance of the 14th amendment? Are they trying to invent new constitutional laws? I'm trying to figure out how this wasn't an absolute certainty?
