@jvschrag@hachyderm.io to be honest John I’m female to non-binary and I was born in the 70s and I’ve been a friend of Dorothy ever since my uncle came out and we had to hide him from Society before homosexuality was normalized as legal where I lived. I have no idea why I would change the way I behave now simply because some politician says I should start hating a specific part of the queer culture. It’s never how it was. He and his husband deserved the same protections I would extend to anybody queer straight or trans. Before during or after the aids crisis.
