I was just reading a post that made me very pleased that we no longer have methane being pumped in to our house. No need for a carbon monoxide detector anywhere, never a chance of a gas leak. And while I think I'm lucky to be able to have transitioned our house to all-electric - I also am super annoyed that the option is being made readily available to anyone who wants to. Canada is failing big-time in the name of propping up polluters (the oil & gas industries). If anyone ever suggests "theekanamy" as a reason for doing so, I'd like to know why they think our "kahnamy" is supposed to function as a reaction to the whims of the petro companies. Absolute ninny thinking.
