"This YouTube video should have been a short blog post" is a mood that has long overstayed it's welcome. Did not ask for the history of the process of X. Did not ask for witty banter with the imagined audience. Did ask for how to do X with enough description to convey the information, without over complication. Some illustrative images/pictures to compliment the written description as needed. I really can't drop into a full Audio & Video experience most times I need quick instructions and something to print out and take away from the computer desk.
