Well, I guess someone has to say it: Historically speaking it is not entirely unprecedented for a far-right political party to call itself "socialist." (oh god why is @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social engaging in arguments about this)

Claiming people who spent years in the mainstream socialist party and split away to merge those beliefs with ethnonationalism were and are just pretending to have the beliefs they do doesn't make much sense. It's a fringe party while meanwhile the far right nazi tied one has mainstream support.
