@lmgenealogy@mstdn.ca Yes, they stopped being good when they convinced themselves that they need to train only attack because everyone plays very defensive against them. But attack is so much more difficult to excel in for a national team because of lack of training time together.

@goalimpact@mastodon.social Is that what happened? I've wondered. When I was little I thought Germany winning was something I could rely on. Sadly, not so much since I grew up. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. . . .
