So, there's @linux and @fediverse and @ireland. Alice uses a personal hashtag and a feed was created to broadcast it, too. But it's based on the hashtag, not the username.

Your tool auto-created an account based on a personal hashtag that was the same as Alice's user name and so effectively looks like a clone of their account. That freaks people out. If I create a hashtag called # liamgilmartin then my server won't create an account @ liamgilmartin.xxx and start cloning my posts.
