As much as I love Superman, Supergirl is better. She wasn't raised on a farm by two loving parents. She lost everything and everyone she knew. She's just as powerful, but doesn't get the fame or the glory. She's still good and kind, and wants to help others, despite.. or maybe even because of what she's seen and gone through. That's a real hero.
