also just a reminder that when sharing posts from most apps or websites, you can delete the tracking data by removing the question mark near the end of the link and anything that comes after it. link still works. tracking trash gone. things are disgusting out there folks, gotta wrap those links up

    @briellebouquet@lgbtqia.space Dropping tracking data when copying a link is easy in Firefox (recent versions at least). Just choose "Copy Clean Link" instead of "Copy Link". (If it's greyed out, then the link doesn't have tracking data). #firefox

    @briellebouquet@lgbtqia.space Something I learned last year: in Android, when you copy a link, you can edit it before pasting. A little clipboard button pops up at the bottom on the screen. Tap that, and you can edit the text you just copied. Click Done, and you'll get the edited version when you paste. It's usually much easier than editing after pasting, esp in a browser address bar.
