@tbortels@infosec.exchange That sounds more like an autistic comping mechanism than an ADHD coping mechanism, and we remain ever so annoyingly autistic even if we get help with our ADHD,.
But your autistic comping mechanism, if this is what it is, should function well despite medication, at least that is my experience. And you may have a little more energy remaining after a day of doing this, even so.

@digitalcortex@mastodon.social @fivetonsflax@tilde.zone @lettosprey@tech.lgbt You may well be right, my only diagnosis was an offhand remark by my MD who wasn't very good otherwise, and my own self-diagnosis of "huh, I do these things and they seem to fit a category". I'm too old (59) to have received a proper evaluation - I was just the weird quiet kid who was really good at math and ... yeah. Symptoms. And coping mechanisms.
