Similarities between the Norse God Odin and the Shinto Kamisama Izanagi no Mikoto, listed clearly: Both played a role in Creation Both carry a divine spear Both are Father figures who created/ birthed humans. Both are married to the main Mother figure of their mythologies. Both have a Sun Goddess, Moon God, and Storm God among their children.
