Had the sudden urge to try bamboo paper again, and it's beyond a joy. I tend to stick with plain, workhorse materials and let the inspiration come from my hands, but seeing the colour of the (cheap, gluey) ink shift with my movements was like nothing else. I started by 'testing it out', and 40 minutes later had finished two gifts I'd promised various people months ago, and this one done on a whim for myself. Bamboo paper is usually treated as cheap practice paper, but for me it's perfect.
