I've been travelling a lot for work recently. And while I love the Steam Deck, it takes up a ton of bag space. I went looking for something a little more travel-friendly, and found the AYANEO Air Plus: https://ayaneo.com/product/AYANEO-AIR-Plus-Mendocino.html It's about the size of a Switch while being similar in power to the Deck. I installed Bazzite on it and it works great! Ayaneo doesn't sell this model anymore, but there are plenty available on eBay. Worth checking out if you want a smaller Steam handheld.
