So one thing I'm building into the ISP is WireGuard access to your own virtual router we host. Should be a pretty good solution to the “safe surfing on public wifi” and “streaming outside the home without Netflix throwing a hissy fit" use cases, but obviously won't provide anonymity.

@karppinen@mastodon.online My travel laptop has similar setup to my home router, as the moment I go outside the country, every possible service just becomes completely uncooperative. As an added bonus it keeps prying eyes off my traffic.
