This is how I am about every social interaction though, especially in Spanish, and if I start cancelling plans because of that, I will just be in my house all the time.

It's not even that I get scared that people have bad intentions. It's more that I'm scared that there will be some sort of misunderstanding I guess? Or that I will mess up in a way that will make people mad at me?
