They were both wrong, but the BBC was (on average) closer. Temperature at a local weather station was 34.5, 30.9 and 34.5 across these three days. Temperature peaked at 36.2 on Friday 26th. So glad the Met Office was wrong. Another hot week coming week after next, but 'only' 30-31 Celsius. #heatwave #climatechange

@RichBartlett@infosec.exchange Met Office forecast was consistently 3 degrees higher than reality (and every other prediction) on every day except one. It was a bit weird.
