@BoloMKXXVIII@mastodon.social We think 400k is a good estimate based on update downloads. It could be higher but that would mean a lot of people aren't updating regularly via our over-the-air update servers.
Pixels aren't available everywhere and there aren't enough used devices for everyone to get them cheaply. For example, Mexico only got Pixels after the Pixel 10 launch so there aren't many used devices for people to buy there yet and the demand is too high compared to the supply of devices right now.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social I hope the Motorola deal vastly increases that number. I read somewhere that the Motorola phones with GrapheneOS might be targeted at business customers. If that is true, I think not also offering these phones to privacy conscious consumers is a missed opportunity for both Motorola and Graphene. Have you reached out to companies like Nothing to see if they would be interested in a partnership? It might be mutually beneficial if they could provide compatible hardware.
