“The names were created in honor of the Duke of Windsor although he preferred a Four-in-Hand himself.”
WHAT
(I’ve always been a little ashamed to prefer a Four-In-Hand … my dad taught me a Full Windsor when I was maybe 10 and I remember thinking something along the lines of “oh so Duplo does men’s fashion now this sucks I feel like I’m in a Hanna-Barbera cartoon about neckties.”)

@rgm@cosocial.ca yeah, you want a knot that is proportional to your neck, but also the cut of the collar. The full windsor is a thiccccccccass knot.

@rgm@cosocial.ca being somewhat askew myself, I prefer the Half Windsor.

@rgm@cosocial.ca PROUD Four-in-Hand fan through five decades! Nowadays only a couple of times a year, though. Always found the Full Windsor inelegant and have NEVER worn it for that reason.
