I don't understand the panic about https://tags.pub/ . People talk about "I didn't consent to this". Consent to what? If you post searchable posts with hashtags, don't you do this to help discovery of your posts? I honestly don't see why this interaction wouldn't be fair game within what social media should be about. It feels like another instance of the quote toot discussion. Mastodon seems to forget, that interactions and posts which are being read are the point of social media.
